Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Ardyne Guest House, I found myself enchanted by its elegant Victorian charm and stunning views of Rothesay Bay. Nestled in a prime location just a short drive from the ferry terminal, it provided an ideal base for exploration, making it perfect for our group of friends seeking adventure in the picturesque landscapes of Scotland. The rooms were spacious and beautifully refurbished, with tasteful headboards crafted from Bute Fabrics, directly weaving a connection to the island's heritage. Each morning began with a delightful breakfast featuring a variety of options, allowing us to indulge before embarking on kayaking excursions or leisurely walks to explore the natural beauty surrounding Loch Fad. The warm hospitality from Jane and Kenny was genuinely outstanding, accommodating all ages in our diverse group, from toddlers to grandparents. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the guests' lounge, where we would sip our wine as the sun set over the bay - truly a serene way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. If you're looking for a getaway that offers comfort, friendly service, and breathtaking scenery, the Ardyne Guest House is a hidden gem I would highly recommend. I will undoubtedly return with family and friends for another wonderful adventure.
